Session Description
Every child has the right to feel welcome and be part of their library’s community. Unfortunately, this is not always the experience of children with disabilities and their families. Learn the seven elements of the inclusive libraries model and how you can use these in your library. This session summarizes the findings of a study of 18 public librarians who focus on inclusive library practices and offers attendees recommendations for how to move towards the achievement of inclusion.
