Opening Access to Public Libraries for Children with Disabilities

About this Session...

Session Description

Every child has the right to feel welcome and be part of their library’s community. Unfortunately, this is not always the experience of children with disabilities and their families. Learn the seven elements of the inclusive libraries model and how you can use these in your library. This session summarizes the findings of a study of 18 public librarians who focus on inclusive library practices and offers attendees recommendations for how to move towards the achievement of inclusion.

Hi, I saw a comment during the session that while the slides would not be made available, websites mentioned would be shared and to my knowledge, we should be able to access the recording tomorrow.
