I completed the technology check and I was supposed to be good to go, but this message popped up when I tried to access the session.

  5. awarkentin@roundrocktexas.gov September 15, 2016 at 9:11 am #

Me, too. When I was getting the message at 8:50, I wasn’t worried because I thought maybe the room didn’t open until 9 am. But now I get the same message. Would love to join.

I sent a message to the help@learningtimes.com address.

  6. jillianpdudley@gmail.com September 15, 2016 at 9:12 am #

  10. karen.macpherson@gmail.com September 15, 2016 at 9:18 am #

I’m getting the same message. Does anyone have any idea how long this might take?

  11. dbostrom@ala.org September 15, 2016 at 9:18 am #

Sorry everyone, we’ve communicated the problem to LearningTimes and they’re doing their best to work on it. We appreciate your patience! If you haven’t done so already, please email them with your information about the problem.

We know a lot of you woke up early to join us and so we’re really sorry for the issues!

Same message. After a Google search it appears that the issue is more people are trying to access the session than are allowed/paid for. Hope the issue is fixed soon because I’m attending from home because I don’t have a space at work where I could do it without constantly being interrupted. No office with a door that closes.

  13. dbostrom@ala.org September 15, 2016 at 9:22 am #

It appears to be an issue with Adobe. The LearningTimes people are checking with right now.

  14. blloyd@stmalib.org September 15, 2016 at 9:26 am #

We have also been unable to login and sent a message with no response. I haven’t found a phone number.

  15. dbostrom@ala.org September 15, 2016 at 9:28 am #

We don’t quite now how long the problem will persist. I’ll keep giving as many updates as I can here and on Twitter (use #alsc16)

    • tbenham@joplinpubliclibrary.org September 15, 2016 at 9:34 am #

a landline number to dial in to hear would be SO appreciated!

    • angela.bronson@toledolibrary.org September 15, 2016 at 9:42 am #

It will be posted online after the conference.

  16. dbostrom@ala.org September 15, 2016 at 9:35 am #

    Sorry, there isn’t a dial-in number.

  17. mryan@crooklib.org September 15, 2016 at 9:43 am #

Some of us don’t tweet so updates here would be great too. Thank you

  18. dbostrom@ala.org September 15, 2016 at 9:47 am #

Adobe has acknowledge the problem is on their end. They’re going to shut down the room after the keynote and ask everyone to log back in. Adobe says that should help.

They should have the entire issue taken care of by the lunch break. Again, we apologize. We’ll keep posting updates as much as we can.

  19. cmcnew@tsl.texas.gov September 15, 2016 at 9:52 am #

I can login but can’t hear anything. I can hear the test on the tech requirements and anything on the web but not the conference. No one has answered the tech problems help box. Are other having issues?

  23. dbostrom@ala.org September 15, 2016 at 10:43 am #

Hi, I’m sorry to hear that you’re having technical problems. Do you want to give me a call? Maybe I can help troubleshoot.
